Orokessien Okok sizzled with a brace as Viva Chennai beat Southern Railway 4-0 in the Chennai Football Association senior division league at the Nehru Stadium here on Saturday.

It took only 10 minutes for Viva to open their account when their Nigerian star Okok made no mistake to slot the ball inside the net.

Two minutes later, Sanju Kumar doubled the lead for Viva when he looped the ball over the goalkeeper as the Viva bench erupted in joy.

There were no fireworks for the rest of the half as Viva went into the break with a 2-0 scoreline.

Desperate to reduce the arrears, Southern Railway tried hard but the elusive goal never came. Okok's compatriot Bolanie Kazheem Amobi made it 3-0 in the 68th minute while Okok came back to score his second goal and Viva's fourth in the 76th minute to put the result beyond the reach of Railways.

Earlier, in a first division league match Food Corporation of India (FCI) beat SDS 2-0. Aarun opened the scoring for FCI in the sixth minute while A. Venkatesh doubled their lead in the dying minutes of the game.
