5 Indians in Twitter T20 Dream Team
What will a World XI in T20 look like? We may think Rohit Sharma and Chris Gayle would walk in as openers. But Twitter has other ideas

In a Dream T20 Team released by Twitter, there are five Indians but no Rohit Sharma or Shikhar Dhawan. It has Harbhajan Singh apart from Ravichandran Ashwin and of course, the certainties such as captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina.
The team is composed of the most mentioned World T20 players on the social networking site over the past 12 months. Surprisingly, it does not have Glenn Maxwell, though his captain Steve Smith figures in it.
The only South African in the XI is Dale Steyn and even more surprisingly there are three Pakistanis in the team, but not Mohammed Amir. The Pakistan fast bowler in the side is Wahab Riaz. Shahid Afridi and Mohammad Hafeez also find a place in the team. But then Twitter’s team is not picked on statistics and talent alone.
“This dream team is composed of the most-mentioned WT20 players on Twitter over the past 12 months, forming a first XI that would be the envy of any coach,” Twitter said in a release.
