ICC Anti-Corruption chief hopes for clean World T20
The International Cricket Council has put in place mechanisms to eliminate corruption during the upcoming World T20 Championship starting on March 8 in India

Sir Ronnie Flanagan, the chairman of the Anti-Corruption Unit of ICC (the world’s cricket governing body) on Sunday said that like in the past major ICC events, a 24-hour tournament-specific hotline has been set up to report on “corrupt approaches” by the players and others.
Sir Flanagan also cautioned that due to human nature it may not be entirely possible to root out the menace. He explains, “We give them a little booklet to fit into their wallet which also has hotline numbers to contact us at any time.
We have a tournament-specific 24-hour hotline and another hotline to our office in Dubai. Last year there were 450 reports and we take them all seriously.” “There are 58 games, for men and women in the World T20 Championships which, we hope, will be an unforgettable experience,” he adds.

Tickets for 4 matches to be sold at TNCA from today
The tickets for four ICC T20 World Cup (women) matches will be sold at TNCA office booth, Victoria Hostel Road from Monday, March 7. The counters will open at 9.05 am. The tickets for C, D and E stands are priced at Rs. 50 for lower tier and Rs. 200 for upper tier.
The hospitality AC box tickets are priced at Rs.1000. The tickets can also be bought online at in.bookmyshow.com
