A life of peace is in your own hands, welcome it in your life
There is ample research to prove scientifically that a disturbed mind is the source of all possible diseases and disorders in the body.

Every human being is in search of peace. It isn’t about money. There are people with enough money who are proof that you cannot buy peace, it must happen to you. The very word ‘peace’ isn’t a need for animals, but it is the highest need for humans. Most of us focus on achieving peace in life, but peace isn’t an achievement, it’s an essential requirement.
There is ample research to prove scientifically that a disturbed mind is the source of all possible diseases and disorders in the body. Peace is the only solution to handle disturbance in the mind or to live without stress, fear and any other mental disturbances. One must realize two things with clear understanding and self-effort; peace isn’t for the body and neither for the atman. There is nothing like an unpeaceful atman. Atman itself is source of all pure and peacefulness.
Then what is it that’s in search of peace? Which part of the human being is in search of peace? Does one need peace as a source of nutrients for the kidney, or as a source of supplements for a healthy heart or to reduce cholesterol? No. Then which part of the body needs peace? These are physical. But peace isn’t a physical quality, it is required to maintain existing ability and to express the ability you already possess in the physical body. No, Peace isn’t required for the body and for the atman, but it is required for the mind to experience harmony with the atman and the Body.
What is peace? It is freedom from mental disturbance which is possible only with harmony with things the mind is related to. We speak about Global peace. But what needs peace in this Globe? A tree isn’t going to say it is not at peace because of deforestation, the sky is never going say the entire space is polluted by human scientific approach in the name of technology because of automobiles, industries and infrastructure. Water will never say, nobody can enjoy its presence as they used to because of factory toxic output. Despite this high pollution, global peace isn’t for the world, it is for human beings living in this world.
We may not have control to bring immediate changes in the environment through a single effort, but you have the ability to bring peace within yourself by changing the perception about life and the people related to you.
I am not going to give you a huge solution like meditation, mind therapy, positive affirmation etc. The highest power of a human being is to be aware of his feelings. Even if he fails to be aware of his feelings, mental disturbance is a sign saying you are not feeling good. It’s a very direct thing one needs to know. This is step one. The secret behind this is a fact that I insist for every human being to know. There can never be a feeling without a judgement or a belief system. Every feeling is backed up by a judgment or belief system.
If one is scared that he is not feeling good because he is mentally disturbed, now he has the knowledge that no feeling is possible without a belief system or a judgement and peace is possible once he understands this.
Even before analyzing ‘What is the belief system that is causing me to have this bad feeling’ or ‘What is the judgment I hold in my mind that is the reason for this feeling’; the first thing one must do is not analyze the judgement, instead give yourself a pause or if possible, take a deep breath. This is the practical way you can start bringing changes to your mind immediately to progress towards peace.
Give yourself a pause after knowing your mind is disturbed instead of finding a reason why it got disturbed. Tell yourself, no matter how bad the situation, right now, right here I can, and I will get out of this. This must be told to oneself not as a lip-service, for the sake of saying but to know and I re-insist ‘No matter how bad things seem to be, right now, right here I can, and I will get out of this’.
After this conviction, try to find a reason behind the feeling you are going through. It can be the present situation, or it can be perception about the person you are associated with or it can be a conflict or unhappiness in relationship with your close ones. Or it could even be a memory of the past which is disturbing the present situation despite these three things being perfect.
Once you ask yourself in which bucket lies the source of your bad feeling, is where the miracle happens. All you need to do is ask the question with clear intention. Even before you finish the question, the solution will be waiting for you. Now peace is a possibility for you.
You know you aren’t a perfect person and you also accept that nobody can be a perfect person. You will know that you have done many mistakes and similarly everybody will also have done mistakes knowingly or unknowingly.
You will now have a huge shift when you approach life in this way especially with people you are related to. You will not spend time in remembering people who have done wrong to you, instead you will celebrate the people who have done right for you even when you never expected. You will be shocked to know, it’s just that you haven’t realized that in life no matter what the situation, the people who have done good for you is always more than the people who have done bad. This itself is proof that you will have a life of peace not just for today or tomorrow but forever.
