Life's lessons: You can’t become rich by dreaming
There was once a priest who was poor and lazy. He got his food by begging for alms and did nothing else the whole day but dream. One day, he got a pot of milk as alms. Delighted he went home with the pot of milk. He drank some of the boiled milk and asked the rest to be set to from curd.

Soon he started dreaming about the pot of curd in his sleep. “By morning the curd would set. It can be churned for making butter. I will get ghee from butter, sell it in the market. With that money I will buy a hen. The hen will lay eggs and I will have chickens. I will soon have a poultry farm of my own.” He went on imagining.
“I will sell all the hens of my poultry and buy some cows, and start a dairy. I will be very rich and marry a beautiful, rich girl. Soon I will have a handsome son. If he does any mischief I will teach him a lesson. He involuntarily picked up the stick next to his bed and thinking that he was beating his son, raised the stick and hit the pot. The pot of milk broke, and he woke from his dream.
Moral: You shouldn’t assume that something will definitely happen before it really does. Don’t make plans that depend on something good happening before you know that it has actually happened.
