A video was making rounds on social media. This video was said to be in protest against 'Karuppar Koottam' in Thiruchendur. But this had to be taken with a pinch of salt.
After some research the conclusion proved that yes indeed this was a protest against this latest controversy.
The believers of Thiruchendur came outside their homes chanting 'Kandha Shashti Kavasam'as a sign of protest against the controversial video mocking the prayer.
