A video of a mother and an infant travelling in a train has gone viral, with the claim that it pertains to the migrant exodus. The mother is sitting on the lever of a moving train that connects two carriages. Several people requested Alt News to fact-check the viral video. It was found that the video was uploaded by a Bangladeshi newspaper in September 2016. It referred to a traveller returning home for Eid ‘by any means necessary.’
