A 30-second video of a man attacking a woman with a machete has been shared with a ‘love jihad’ claim on Twitter and Facebook. The viral messages suggest that the accused Ismail attempted to murder a woman named Asha. Police commissioner of Hubballi-Dharwad confirmed the due hails from the same community. Asha is a jewellery store employee who had recently broken up with Ismail. Asha is recovering well while Ismail has been arrested now.
