CHENNAI: Chief Minister MK Stalin on Thursday took to the social media platform X to release a video message urging people of the state to unite and win together, in the backdrop of the Tiruparankundram deepathoon row setback.
In his message, he emphasised protecting Tamil Nadu's land, language and honour, and called on citizens to come together irrespective of challenges posed by political adversaries.
In the post, Stalin said, "Tamils, on the path of development, let's win together. No matter how many forces come against us, we will protect the soil, language and dignity of Tamil Nadu and win as one," reinforcing his appeal for collective effort toward the State's progress and identity.
The message comes at a time of heightened political activity in Tamil Nadu, with parties gearing up for the 2026 Assembly elections. Stalin's call for unity highlights his campaign narrative of safeguarding regional pride while pushing for development.
