TIRUCHY: After a video of a minor boy creating a ruckus under the influence of liquor surfaced in the district, the Thanjavur police on Thursday night arrested a youth who made the boy drink alcohol.
On March 31, a 13-year-old Class 8 boy in school uniform was creating ruckus in Tiruvidaimarudur area.
The boy was later handed over to his parents.
Meanwhile, the video of the boy creating public nuisance had surfaced on social media, and the Pandanallur police conducted an investigation.
They booked and arrested Subramanian (20) from Kathiramangalam for offering liquor to the boy.
