CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) released the much-awaited annual planner for 2026, outlining the schedule for major recruitment drives
The exams for assistant professors' recruitment at Anna University are scheduled for May. Likewise, the exams for the recruitment of assistant professors for state-owned Thiruvalluvar University will begin in June.
The recruitment process for Bachelor Teacher Assistant posts for middle, high and higher secondary schools across the State will commence in July.
Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TN-TET), which is mandatory for government job teaching aspirants, will tentatively be held in July. Accordingly, the second TET exam is likely to be held in December.
The notification further said that the selection of students and candidates for the Chief Minister Research Fellowship (CMRF) will begin from August.
