Stalin has greeted actor Rajinikanth by twitting “My hearty birthday greetings to my dear friend superstar Rajinikanth who turns 70. I wish him prosperity, long life and good heath in mind and body.”

A good number of the Twitterati felt the greeting message was loaded with sarcasm, especially the word wishing good mental health. “Mananalathudan” (sound mental health). In Tamil it sounds fine but in English we don’t usually wish people sound Mental Health on their Birthday, do we?” tweeted Raman. While DMK supporters responded to the jibe of the curious Twitterati by appreciating the alleged sarcasm of their leader, die-hard fans of Rajini were disappointed with it.
