Alleging that it was a targeted assault on reservation policy and social justice was denied to OBCs and SC/STs ever since the BJP returned to power at the Centre, Stalin cautioned that a situation was fast arising for OBC groups and political parties committed to social justice across the country to gang up against the BJP regime for undermining the social justice rights of majority.
Also condemning the BJP led Centre for eating into the 49.5% reservation quota of OBCs and SC/STs to offer 10% reservation to EWS among Forward Classes in banking recruitment, the DMK president said that it was worrisome that the BJP regime was continuously mocking the majority reserved OBCs and SC/ST communities of the country.
