CHENNAI: Southern Railway has planned to operate 50 special trains during the summer vacation to manage the anticipated increase in passenger traffic, according to a Daily Thanthi report.
Along with 50 special trains, Southern Railway has also planned to run 200 train services in the month of April and May.
The additional services will be introduced across various routes during the holiday period, when travel demand typically increases.
