The Tamil Nadu DGP JK Tripathy has issued an order to the higher officials of the Tamil Nadu Police Department stating that the Tamil Nadu Police will not be granted leave.
He stated that in order to protect the law and order efficiently the Police Officers should stay vigilant all day and night in the same line as election duties.
It was further mentioned that this rule will be instated from 10th November unless there is an re-order.
