CHENNAI: The Election Commission of India has officially allotted the Whistle as the common election symbol for Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) for the 2026 Assembly elections.
Election Commission of India on January 22, 2026, alloted the symbol under the provisions of the Election Symbols (Reservation and Allotment) Order, 1968, to candidates set up by registered unrecognised political parties.
The order states that TVK will use the Whistle symbol in all Assembly constituencies in Tamil Nadu for the forthcoming General Election to the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly.
