Two assembly constituencies including Vilathikulam and Ottapidaram had been lying vacant in the district. People, who had recently received the Pongal gift, would happily welcome the Chief Minister, he said while talking to reporters in Kovilpatti. “Our party (AIADMK) has an overwhelming support among women like how it existed during the lifetime of former chief minister J Jayalalithaa. But, unable to stomach this, Kanimozhi, DMK Rajya Sabha MP has been criticising the AIADMK,” he said.
“Why the DMK did not organise investors meet when the party was in power?” he asked hitting back at Kanimozhi .
It was the AIADMK, which organised such programmes to benefit the trade and industry body, he said.
