CHENNAI: Vidya Mandir SSS Mylapore’s young batter Ashwath Narayanan put on a fabulous show, smashing a 116-ball 272 (32x4 and 11x6) in a 308-run win over Bharat Sr. Sec school here on Tuesday.

St. Bedes AIHSS A’s skipper V Sachin too had a day out elsewhere, as he smashed a 250 off 116 balls, an innings that had 45 fours, sharing an unbeaten 320-run opening stand with Gautam for the first wicket.

Govt HSS West Mambalam’s leg-spinner A Prithnish was pick of the bowlers, with figures of 6/20, helping his side to a big win. SBOA School and Junior College, Anna Nagar’s leg-spinner Shashwath too scalped 5/10 while Sri Chaitanya Techno Mandaveli’s off-spinner Anush Hariharan too ended with similar figures (5/12)
