CHENNAI: Off-spinner ML Rishi came up with a superb spell of five for 16 to bowl Thiruvallur to a 35-run win over Kancheepuram in the Tagore-Thiruvallur DCA U-12 tournament.
Batting first, Thiruvallur scored 158/8 with Athreya Makesh scoring 59. In reply, Kancheepuram could only manage 123.
Elsewhere, riding on an unbeaten 55 from S Navish, Chengalpattu cruised to a 9-wicket win over Tiruvannamalai.
