Santhosh stars in Tiger CC win over Minerva CC

After bowling out Minerva CC to a modest score of 116, Tiger CC coasted home in 31.4 overs with seven wickets remaining. Elsewhere, in a fifth division match, P Bharathwaj’s five for 51 couldn’t stop his team Vijay’s Recreation Club from suffering a three-wicket defeat to Chennai Corporation Office Association.

TN women lose to Karnataka

Karnataka defeated Tamil Nadu by six wickets in the BCCI U-23 Women’s T20 match in Anand, Gujarat on Saturday. After opting to bat, TN was restricted to 85 for five with S Anusha top-scoring with 42, while SB Keerthana chipped in with 30. In reply, Karnataka chased down that target with more than five overs to spare and six wickets in hand.
