Football Marathon on November 4

School boys, aged 14 or under, are eligible to take part in the event that will run for about 12 hours (7am to 7pm). While the registration is free, the participants will have to pay a refundable fee of Rs. 500 during enrolment. The tournament will be held across 12 venues, which include Tiki Taka (Velachery, T Nagar, Kilpauk and Neelankarai), Route 1 (Alwarpet), Chaos (Adyar) and Aadukalam (Royapuram).

Once the competition comes to a close, the best of the lot will be picked. They will get an opportunity to train with FC Schalke academy coaches Kai Brock and Tom Albrecht for a week in Chennai at no cost. Brock and Albrecht come with huge wealth of experience under their belt, having trained a lot of junior players in Germany.
