CHENNAI: Ben Stokes and Joe Root with their 132-run partnership powered England to 337/9 runs in 50 overs.

Pakistan needs 338 runs in 50 overs at 6.76 rpo to win the match.

With both sides getting eliminated from the tournament, a win could improve chances of Champions Trophy qualification and help either of them to salvage pride at best
