AG’s Office clinches Elite title

AG’s Office and Second Division Plate Championship winner SPIC Recreation Club received the CP Johnstone Shield for coming up trumps. Swaraj Cricket Club, which finished behind victor AG’s Office in the Elite Championship, also got elevated to the First Division. Triplicane Sports Club and Sir Theagaraya Recreation Club were relegated to the Third Division.

Plate Championship: SPIC RC 232 in 49.2 overs (M Dinesh Veda Guru 75, M Manokaran 55, G Periyaswamy 3/40) beat United Friends CC (T Nagar) 214 in 48.5 overs (D Prashanth Prabhu 68, MK Siva Kumar 36, S Kishore Kumar 34, Manish Golamaru 3/37, L Saravanan 3/40).
