SSB playing important role in fight against terrorism, Naxalism: Rajnath

Union Home Minister Rajanth Singh today lauded Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) personnel for playing an important role in the fight against terrorism and Naxalism and said the government "tries to do whatever is needed to help them".

Singh, who was here to attend an event of the SSB, said brave personnel of the Army and paramilitary forces were together fighting terrorism in Kashmir.

He said jawans of the SSB have been successful to a large extent in checking the spread of Naxalism.

"Whatever we can do for our jawans is not enough ... The government tries to do whatever is needed to help them," the minister said.
