CHENNAI: Vegetable prices at the Koyambedu wholesale market in Chennai largely unchanged on February 6 (Friday), with no major fluctuations reported.

Onion, tomato and other daily-use vegetable stay steady

According to traders, rates of onions, tomatoes, potatoes, continue to be sold at same price as compared to yesterday.

Onions is priced at Rs 24 per kg, tomatoes is priced at Rs 20 per kg, potatoes are priced at Rs 15 per kg.

Beans continue to rule at Rs 45 per kg, while ginger is sold at Rs 70 per kg and garlic is sold at Rs 100 per kg.

No price change seen across vegetable categories

Meanwhile, drumstick is sold at Rs 140 per kg. Ooty carrot prices Rs 25, while Malur carrots prices Rs 10 per kg.

Similarly, chow chow and radish are being sold at Rs 13 and Rs 15 per kg respectively.

Peas is sold for Rs 50 per kg and lemon is sold at Rs 50 per kg.

Corainder and mint leaves are sold at Rs 3 per bunch.
