The Association was initiated to benefit students by helping them widen their knowledge in academics by participating in various challenging activities and a platform to enhance their language or communication skills.
The Association along with the faculty of the Department of English can motivate the enterprising young minds of the students and help in bringing out the innate potentials of the students through way of seminars, workshops and competitions.
V Vijayalayan, Assistant Professor of English, Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College, Mylapore was the chief guest, who conducted a workshop on ‘Applying Theories to Texts’. P Arulmozhichelvan, prinicpal of the college, S Arasi, Associate Professor and HOD, PG andResearch Department of English, faculty members and students participated in the ceremony.
The PG and Research Department of English have earlier organised various activities like seminars, workshops intercollege quiz competitions to develop the academic growth of the students.
