CHENNAI: Vegetable prices at the Koyambedu wholesale market in Chennai witnessed minor fluctuations on January 30 (Friday), with mango and drumstick recording a fall compared to the previous day, while most other vegetables remained stable.

Mango and beetroot drumstick

Mango dropped by Rs 20 per kg from Rs 80 to Rs 60 per kg. Drumstick prices also eased to Rs 90 per kg from Rs 100, decreasing by Rs 10 kg.

Prices of most vegetables remain unchanged

According to traders, onions, tomatoes, potatoes, continue to be sold at same price as compared to yesterday.

Onions are priced at Rs 22 per kg, tomatoes are priced at Rs 25 per kg, potatoes are priced at Rs 20 per kg.

Drumstick continues to be sold at Rs 100 per kg, while ginger is sold at Rs 70 per kg and garlic is sold at Rs 100 per kg.

Corainder and mint leaves are sold at Rs 5 and Rs 3 per bunch, respectively.
