CHENNAI: The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT-M) on Thursday announced the launch of Hindi versions of its flagship 'AI for All' programme on the SWAYAM Plus digital learning platform, a move aimed at widening access to foundational artificial intelligence education across the country.

The initiative, led by IIT-M through SWAYAM Plus, comprises six free online courses designed for learners with no prior background in artificial intelligence or coding.

Basic digital literacy and an interest in learning are sufficient to enrol, making the courses suitable for students, teachers and working professionals alike.

All six courses have been curated by experts from the IIT-M ecosystem and focus on practical learning through real datasets and case studies, with an emphasis on skill development and employability.

Each course spans 25 to 45 hours and can be accessed free of cost. Learners may opt for a paid certification by appearing for an online proctored examination.
