CHENNAI: A 19-year-old guest worker employed at a lodge in Vepery was arrested for filming a woman nurse while she was bathing in a hotel room. The police seized the mobile phone used in the offence.
The victim, who works as a nurse at a private hospital in Periyapalayam, checked into the lodge in Vepery police limits after returning from her hometown in Kerala.
The woman's friend noticed the accused filming the bathroom through the window and raised an alarm, after which the guest worker's phone was snatched.
Based on a complaint, the police registered a case and arrested Dhananjay (19) of Odisha, who was working as a helper in the lodge. His mobile phone was seized too.
