Check out vegetable prices at Chennai's Koyambedu market on January 28, 2026

CHENNAI: Vegetable prices at the Koyambedu wholesale market in Chennai witnessed minor fluctuations on January 28 (Wednesday).

Prices of most vegetables remain unchanged

• According to traders, rates of onions and potatoes continue to be sold at the same price as compared to Saturday.

• Onions are priced at Rs 26 per kg, tomatoes are priced at Rs 25 per kg, and potatoes are priced at Rs 20 per kg.

• Beans continue to sell at Rs 40 per kg, while ginger is sold at Rs 70 per kg and garlic is sold at Rs 100 per kg.

• Coriander and mint leaves are sold at Rs 5 and Rs 3 per bunch, respectively
