CHENNAI: In Chennai, the price of petrol and diesel slightly increased today (April 29).

Petrol in Chennai is priced at Rs 101.23 per litre today, marking a slight rise from yesterday’s Rs 101.06. Over the last 10 days, prices have shown minor fluctuations, moving within a range of Rs 100.80 to Rs 101.23.

Similarly, diesel in Chennai is priced at Rs 92.81 per litre today, a slight increase from yesterday’s rate of Rs 92.61.

Oil companies use the current crude oil price on the global market and the value of the Indian rupee as compared to the US dollar as primary variables to determine the pricing of petrol and diesel on a day to day basis.
