CHENNAI: The Union Ministry of Education has invited organisations with credible, deployed and research-backed AI solutions to participate in the IIT Madras Bharat Bodhan AI Conclave 2026, a national-level event aimed at hastening outcome-driven adoption of AI in India’s education ecosystem.
The two-day conclave will be held in New Delhi on February 12 and 13, and will serve as a platform to identify and engage AI-enabled education solutions that have moved beyond pilot stages and demonstrated measurable impact on learning outcomes.
Last date for submission of Letters of Interest is January 29. Submissions have been invited across four priority verticals: AI for School Education, AI for Higher Education, AI for Skilling and Workforce Readiness, and AI Research and Deep Technology. The call is open to solution providers, academic and research institutions, foundations, government bodies and other stakeholders from India and abroad.
IIT-M director V Kamakoti said, “India’s education system is undergoing a decisive transformation under the NEP and National Curriculum Framework. AI is emerging as a powerful enabler to address persistent challenges across the education ecosystem, particularly in foundational literacy and numeracy, teacher support, assessment, personalised learning and system-level monitoring at scale.”
To advance this national priority, the Ministry of Education has set up a Centre of Excellence in AI for Education at IIT-M under the Bodhan AI Foundation of the institute, with a mandate to develop responsible, scalable and India-first AI solutions aligned with national policies and digital public frameworks.
