The incident happened on Sunday evening when Mano and his wife Liviya (26) were returning to their home in Kolathur after visiting a friend at Guduvanchery. When their car was near Morai near Avadi on the Outer Ring Road, it rammed the median and was mangled completely.
Passers-by rescued the couple, but by then Mano had already died. Liviya was rushed to Avadi Government Hospital. After administering first-aid, she was admitted to a private hospital in Ambattur. Mano’s body was sent to a hospital in Porurfor autopsy.
On information, the Poonamallee traffic investigation police have registered a case. Mano has acted in a movie named Puzhal and also participated in a dance reality show. He has also compered TV shows, said the police. The couple has a seven-year-old daughter.
