CHENNAI: Air India Express, India’s first international value carrier, has launched its monthly ‘PayDay Sale’, offering discounted fares across its domestic and international network. Under the offer, travellers can book value fares starting from Rs 1,950 on domestic routes and Rs 5,590 on international routes.
Bookings at these special fares are open on the airline’s website (https://www.airindiaexpress.com/home), mobile app and all major booking platforms until January 1, 2026. The fares are valid for domestic travel from January 12 to October 10, 2026, and for international travel from January 12 to October 31, 2026, according to a press release. It has also been clarified that the discounted tickets are applicable only on Air India Express flights departing from airports across the country, including Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru, and do not apply to Air India flights.
In addition, Air India Express Xpress Lite fares (for zero check-in baggage) are available from Rs 1,850 on domestic routes and Rs 5,355 on international routes. Air India Express Xpress Lite fares are lower-cost tickets for passengers travelling with cabin baggage only, offering a higher cabin allowance of up to 10 kg (including an extra 3 kg) and no check-in baggage, available on select short-haul domestic and international routes.
The airline is offering zero convenience fees on bookings made through its mobile app and on website bookings paid via net banking. Lite fares also come with discounted baggage add-ons, priced at Rs 1,500 for 15 kg on domestic flights and Rs 2,500 for 20 kg on international flights.
Loyalty members can avail special offers, including up to 25% off Business Class fares, complimentary ‘Gourmair’ hot meals, additional baggage allowance and ‘Xpress Ahead’ priority services.
Tata NeuPass members can get an extra discount of up to Rs 250 on bookings made through the airline’s website and mobile app.
Air India Express is also extending special benefits for students, senior citizens, armed forces personnel and their dependents. Customers using select Visa debit and credit cards can avail flat discounts of Rs 250 on domestic flights and Rs 600 on international flights.
