MP CM Kamal Nath to launch Jal Mahotsav
A 'city' boasting 104 luxury tents has been constructed. Along with water sports, exciting adventure activities will be conducted.

The Fourth Jal Mahotsav - a month-long affair - is to be inaugurated by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath on Friday in Khandwa District's Hanuwantiya located in the vicinity of the Indira Sagar Dam, official sources said.
A 'city' boasting 104 luxury tents has been constructed. Along with water sports, exciting adventure activities will be conducted. These include jet ski, boat rides, water jogging, water parasailing, hot air ballooning, para motors, archery, trekking, all-terrain vehicle, bird-watching, art and handicraft workshop, spa, Yoga and paintball games. Numerous cultural programmes shall be presented.
Indira Sagar is Asia's second-largest man-made reservoir. A large number of islands emerged naturally from backwaters of the dam on the Narmada River. This series commences with Hanuwantiya. The surrounding forest area, wildlife, sounds and movement of colourful birds further add to the charm.
