President, HM Shah pay floral tributes to Sardar Patel on his birth anniversary at Patel Chowk

President Ram Nath Kovind , Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Urban Development Minister Hardeep Puri on Thursday paid tributes to iron man of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 144th birth anniversary at his statue  at the Patel Chowk here.

President Kovind, Shah, Puri along with Delhi LG Anil Baijal paid floral tributes to the man who united the country which was divided into various provinces post independence.

Sardar Patel's birth anniversary is observed as the 'Rashtriya Ekta Diwas' or National Unity Day since 2014 and a run for unity is also being organised on this occasion to re-affrim the strength of the nation with unity and integrity.
