Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Dr G Parameshwara today said that there was clear indication that the EVMs are being hacked to benefit the ruling party at the centre.

In a sharp reaction to exit poll predictions, Parameshwara told newsmen here on Monday, "These  predictions are unimaginable and it leads to a doubt that BJP is behind these predictions that is in its favour."

"The fact is BJP will be defeated and a different government will take reigns at the center post May 23 counting of Lok Sabha election votes. The BJP may be celebrating after predication of winning 300 to 400 seats.  But according to our information UPA with other new supporting parties will bounce back to power at the Centre.  This was even expressed by the leaders of various parties whom I met during my recent visit to Delhi," he added.

Parameshwara said, "This time the predictions are wrong and there is no doubt that Congress-JDS will win more seats than BJP as far as Karnataka is concerned."

He said that since there was all possibility of hacking EVMs and proved it with proof, the Election Commission has not taken it seriously and replace EVMs with ballot papers.
