Pondicherry University to effect changes in MBBS curriculum
Following requests from students, parents and colleges for effecting changes in the MBBS curriculum on revaluation, grace marks, improvement of internal marks, etc., Pondicherry University (PU) has decided to make changes in the regulations with due approval of the Academic Council.

Grace marks can be awarded only for one theory paper, provided the student has failed in only one subject, irrespective of whether the student had failed in the first attempt or subsequent attempts, said a release issued by Registrar (in-charge) Dr Chitra on Friday.
As the MCI regulations do not provide for Improvement of Internal Assessment marks once uploaded, there would be no improvement of marks for those appearing from May 2019 session onwards.
