Shameful to doubt Armed Forces, says Goyal
Senior BJP leader and Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Monday lashed out at former union minister P Chidambaram for doubting India’s armed forces in the wake of the recent actions, including the IAF strikes at Balakot terror camp that followed the Pulwama terror attack.

Talking to reporters on his arrival at the airport here to inaugurate various Railway and NTPL projects, Goyal said it was shameful that people like Chidambaram were raising questions and doubts about the Armed Forces and strongly condemned the same.
“As an Indian citizen, raising doubts and demeaning our own Armed Forces, they are speaking in favour of Pakistan,” he added.
He said at a time when the country was facing several challenges on the terrorism front, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been acting as a good leader by taking firm decisions to protect the Nation. The Union Minister paid homage to two martyred CRPF jawans of Tamil Nadu and said that they gave up their life and made supreme sacrifice for the safety of the people.
He extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of martyred soldiers on the occasion. Their sacrifice would not be wasted. Modi gave full freedom to the Armed Forces to retaliate against the terrorists. All terrorists and all those who support them should beware, because India would not leave them.
“Our country is safe and secure, we have a great leader in Modi, who will not spare anybody, who cause evil to India,” he said. The whole of India was proud of Wing Commander Abhinandan, the son of Tamil Nadu and he appealed to those gathered at the inauguration programme to give a standing ovation and thunderous applause.
