AIADMK-BJP tie-up adulterated: Congress
All India Congress Committee Secretary Sanjay Dutt on Wednesday termed the alliance forged by the BJP in Tamil Nadu and Maharastra as an ‘adulterated’ one.
Puducherry
Talking to newspersons here, Dutt said there are alliances on ideological planks and policies .But the alliance forged by the BJP we witness that it is using Enforcement Directorate, Intelligence Agencies to threaten the parties in states either to join them or go to jail, he alleged.
In Maharastra, the Shiv Sena leader was criticising the Modi government and Amit Shah like any thing and finally they formed and alliance with the BJP. Similarly, in Tamil Nadu the PMK was criticizing the AIADMK government, the BJP and NDA and it even brought out a booklet against the AIADMK government.
“On Tuesday, we saw the PMK leader sitting with the TN Chief Minister,” he said, and wondered whether it is based on any ideological principles. It is not under any principles, but because of the threat of the investigative agencies, Dutt alleged.
On the agitation by Chief Minister V Narayanasamy and alliance party leaders, Dutt said that they took a stand for the people of Puducherry to bring clarity on certain issues which have been pending or which are at road blocks in view of the alleged conspiracy hatched by Modi and Lt Governor Kiran Bedi.
In Puducherry, the Lt Governor have been overstepping her constitutional duties to create hurdles in the implementation of welfare and developmental schemes.
Not once during the tenure of Bedi, the people had seen her advocating the cause of the people of Puducherry with the union government.
We have never seen her fighting for more funds for Puducherry or for more developmental packages for the people of Puducherry, he added.
