AAP to contest LS polls alone in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana
Ruling out the possibility of any alliance, the Aam Aadmi Party on Friday made it clear that it will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections all alone in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana.

Addressing the mediapersons here, Labour Minister Gopal Rai said, ''In the wake of upcoming Lok Sabha elections, discussions about AAP and Congress were going on. Keeping the country ahead, we were ready to tie-up with Congress but for the grand old party it's ego is more than the country. So now, we will contest LS elections alone in Delhi, Punjab and Haryana."
''The AAP has disagreed with the ideology of Congress from the very first day, and ended it's 15 years of 'misrule' in Delhi with zero seats,'' he said.
Attacking the newly appointed Delhi Congress chief Shiela Dikshit, Mr Rai said, ''Ms Dikshit is saying that she will check how electricity and water is getting cheap in Delhi. All this is making it clear that Congress is still not ready to accept public mandate.''
It is to be noted that two days earlier, Shiela Dikshit had also said that there is nothing on alliance with AAP yet.
In last 2014 LS polls, BJP had won all seven seats in Delhi.
