Lt Governor Bedi, CM Narayansamy extend festival wishes

In her message, Bedi said that the true spirit of Bakrid celebration is to follow and propagate the principles of compassion, peace, sacrifice and brotherhood.

She wished that the festival may bestow happiness and prosperity in the lives of the people.

Wishing the people, Chief minister Narayansamy said that his government is committed to safeguard the welfare of the minorities including the Muslims. He recalled that the administration had provided a sum of Rs. 20.48 lakh to 128 Haj pilgrims.

Speaker V Vaithilingam, the cabinet colleagues of Narayanasmay, the legislators, Lok Sabha member R. Radhakrishnan and leaders of several political parties greeted the people on the occasion.
