The party alleged that the way Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb and Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath during their media interaction claimed that an international kidney smuggler was involved in murder of 11? years boy Purna Biswas had spread the rumour across the state.

The chief minister's claim on sealing the international border after the incident of Bhumihin Colony under Mohanpur subdivision had instigated the rumours on the presence of organ lifters in Tripura.

"Without judicial investigation the inside story of such unfortunate incidents would not come to the fore and the victim families would also not be able to identify their enemy," Pradesh Congress president Birjit Sinha said here today.

Condemning such remarks by two important ministers, they said that rumour mongering is now serious issue for the people of the state as already three persons were lynched and many more sustained injuries.

Congress will lodge complaints before the Governor of Tripura against two ministers.

Mentioning the recent killing of innocent people, Congress claimed that Tripura had become a safe haven for anti-socials and murderers due to lawlessness situation under BJP-IPFT coalition government in last three and half months.

The incidents of lynching clearly indicated the total failure of police administration.

He claimed that lynching of public announcer Sukanta Chakraborty (33) at Kalacherra is a result of inner fight between ruling alliance of BJP and IPFT and added that BJP and IPFT leaders had failed to control their cadres, restricting them to power game.

Criticising the state government they argued that the situation further aggravated due to imposition of ban on internet and SMS services after the incidents and still the services are blocked. The incident had happened owing to failure of the administration but they had shifted the fault on the public.

"All internet based services including banking, travel reservation and health services are affected severely due to such irresponsible step of the government, which shows their immaturity and inefficiency in handling the crisis," Sinha added.

Meanwhile, police said three persons? a middle aged lady, a garment hawker of Uttar Pradesh and a public announcer were hacked to death by a mob blaming them for being associated with child lifter on June 28 last following the brutal murder of Purna Biswas (11) on previous evening.

Police have arrested three persons in connection with the murder of Purna Biswas including his maternal uncle, four persons in Sukanta Chakraborty's murder and four persons in the murder of a middle-aged lady in Bishalgarh. Six other persons had been arrested in connection with the murder of two others in Agartala last week but nobody has been arrested in the lynching case of Jahir Khan of Uttar Pradesh.

All of them were sent to police remand but yet police could not ascertain the reasons of the incident except blaming the spread of rumour of child lifter. Police have arrested 18 suspected accused persons and of whom 17 are CPI (M) supporters and it shows the Marxists are unleashing violence", alleged Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath.
