Multilingual actor Prakash Raj today said he is not against political leaders visiting temples, but against those who are communal.

"I will be silent if Rahul Gandhi, Narendra Modi, Amit Shah and Siddaramaiah visit temples. I do not have any problem with that, but I have a problem with those who are communal,"

he said at a meet the press programme by the Press Club of Bangalore and the Bangalore Reporters Guild.

Raj's reply came when asked about his silence over Gandhi's visit to temples during his election campaign in Karnataka.

"I am against those who tell me to go to Pakistan for the comments I make. Why should they be telling me to go to Pakistan, why not mention about having a sojourn in a beautiful place?" he asked.

Raj also said he would train his guns on BJP more than the Congress or JDS.

Replying to a query, Raj said he would also speak up against Congress and JDS when it is required.

To yet another query, Raj said reports of his contesting elections from Mangaluru Lok Sabha constituency is false, but added that his foundation will not indulge in politics.

Asked about his stand on the Cauvery issue when the comments of actors like Rajnikanth and Kamal Hassan have 'angered' people of Karnataka, Raj said he wouldn't comment on it unless he is in the know-how of the issue.

"The issue has been politicised so much that a one-time solution i s impossible," he added.
