A home ministry spokesperson said the compensation will be given to the victims of yesterday's terror attack as early as possible.

Altogether seven Amarnath pilgrims, including six women, were killed and 19 injured when terrorists attacked a bus in Kashmir's Anantnag district last evening.

All the victims were from Gujarat. The attack took place when they were returning to Jammu from Srinagar in a bus, after visiting the cave shrine of Lord Shiva, located in the Himalayas at an altitude of 12,756 feet.
