BJP's youth wing leader offers Rs. 11 lakh reward for beheading West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee
A member of BJP's youth wing, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) has created controversy by offering Rs 11 lakhs for cutting off West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's head.

BJYM leader Yogesh Varshney made the controversial statement after the Suri police lathi-charged a rally raising slogans of "Jai Sri Ram" on Hanuman Jayanti at Birbhum district.
Varshney said, "Those who will cut and bring West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee head, I will give that person Rs.11 lakh. Mamata Banerjee never allows Saraswati Puja, fairs during Ram Navami and during Hanuman Jayanti procession, people were lathi charged and brutally beaten up. She organizes Iftar party and always supports Muslims".
The police had denied the Bir Hanuman Jayanti organisers permission to hold any meeting or rally. The organisers requested and assured the police that that they would not carry arms. However, the police was firm on its decision and charged on.
