Demonetisation row: Mayawati urges Pranab for summoning Modi
Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP) chief Mayawati today President Pranab Mukherjee to summon Prime Minister Narendra Modi and direct him to solve people's miseries being faced by them due to the decision of demonetisation.

"I urge President to summon PM and ask him to take measures to solve the problems faced by people post demonetisation move", the former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister told media persons.
"Since the announcement there have been long queues at ATMs, people are being harassed and the government was not prepared adequately for implementing the decision", she said.
"We are not in favour of black money, we are with the government for fight against the evil, but decisions should be more sound", Ms Mayawati added.
