Body of stunt actor Anil Kumar fished out

The body of another stunt actor Raghav Udhay, who had also drowned along with Anil was recovered and the last rites were held.

Anil and Uday, along with film hero Duniya Vijay, had jumped into the water from a helicopter for a scene. However, Vijay was rescued by fishermen in a country boat immediately after the incident.

More than 10 boats were pressed into service. Expert divers had also arrived from Mangaluru, besides from National Disaster Rescue Force, Fire Fighters who launched search for the body could succeed after 49 hours struggle.

The body of Anil was taken to Victoria Hospital for post-mortem.
