"I don't know about the talks underway with the parties and have nothing to say on this," he told mediapersons on board his Samajwadi Vikas Rath, before it developed snag after moving just around 30 metres. The CM made it clear that his yatra has been delayed for one month, but now he would reach out to the people to remove all the confusion. "Jab hum janata ke beech jayenge to ye sab vivaad khatam ho jayenge," the CM added.
Expressing his confidence that people will again support the SP in the coming assembly polls, Mr Yadav said people always support who had worked for them and fulfilled all the promises. He further said that Muslims would vote for SP en-mass as they will always support a secular party and Mulayam Singh Yadav have never ditched the community in the past.
"Janata ussi ke paksh mei jaati hai jisne kaam kiya hai. Pichhli baar jo humne vaade kare wo poore kiye humane (We aim to meet people at the grassroots level. I think that everyone will support us as we have always worked in public domain)," he said.
Yadav also denied that he was annoyed with anyone even his uncle Shivpal and there was any feud in the party or family. He announced that though his uncle Ram Gopal Yadav, sacked leader from the party and minority welfare minister Mohammad Azam Khan were not present in today's function but their blessing was with him.Â
The CM said," In coming times I am sure that farmers, youth, everyone will support us for all the development that SP brings". Meanwhile, Ms Dimple Yadav, wife of the CM and SP MP from Kannauj, who is also traveling on the rath beside her husband claimed that,"  This is  a historic beginning, we can see so much youth force. We are very positive about the elections."
Yadav made it clear that youths of the state are just looking towards Akhilesh as he was their future. She claimed that Akhilesh has gained eminence experience and if given second term he would be the most successful CM of the country. Besides, she also denied that there was any rift in the family or the party and everyone was united so that the party can retain the power.
Earlier, SP national president Mulayam Singh Yadav flagged off the Rath yatra in the presence of his brother and state party president Shivpal Singh Yadav and other leaders.
