Going Viral: Twitter goes berserk over Kejriwal’s floral headgear

Kejriwal was in Goa for two days to drum up support for his Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in next year’s elections. He was reportedly welcomed to the state on Tuesday by local fishermen, who presented him with the floral offering, traditionally worn in the ongoing local festival of San Joao. It seems Kejriwal liked his crown of flowers so much, he addressed the media while still wearing it. And wearing that, how could he not get the attention on Twitter. 

From wondering if he had finally joined Snapchat to comparing him with Pakistani singer Taher Shah, social media went berserk over the Delhi CM’s floral headgear. While one use wrote, “Kejriwal’s new plan to combat pollution in Delhi - all Delhiites to grow gardens on their heads,” another said, “Kejriwal announcing the line up for this year’s #NH7Weekender.” One user wrote, “Pakistan ~ We Have Taher Shah, What Do You Have ?? Arvind Kejriwal ~ Say No More.... *Boom*” Although, sporting this floral headgear was a nice gesture on Kejriwal’s part, there is no harm in having a good laugh, is there?
